Davana

Davana is a fragrant, flowering herb that belongs to the Asteraceae family (commonly known as the “daisy family”). In ancient Ayurvedic medicine, this prized oil was often used for its ability to uplift mood, decongest, deter microbes/bacteria, and rich antioxidant content.
 
The plant grows to about a foot in height and is native to India. The entire plant is put through a steam distillation process to extract the essential oil. Even a few drops of Davana will add a chic note to any blend. Try mixing it with Rose or your favorite floral essential oil.
