Juniper Berry

Botanical Name: Juniperus Communis
Origin: India
Its piney and somewhat fruity aroma can nourish and restore while ushering in calming relaxation. Interestingly, Juniper fruit is not a berry at all but is derived from a portion of the juniper cone, which takes about three years to fully mature. The berries were used traditionally by both Native Americans and Tibetans during sacred ceremonies. Juniper is commonly known as the "pain oil" in it's amazing ability to relieve physical pain from muscle aches and strains. In massage oil, Juniper Berry invigorates, strengthens and refreshes tired and sore muscles.
